Empty Homes Loan Fund launched

A call for bids for the Empty Homes Loan Fund has been launched this morning by the First Minister.  Organisations, including private landowners, will have until 3 October to submit bids for loan funding to renovate empty homes and make them available as affordable housing.

Guidance for bidders and a copy of the application form is available on the Scottish Government website grants and loans pages (see link below).

The Scottish Government has been able to increase the budget from £2m to £4m which will enable us to support more bids.  For this additional £2m, particular prioritisation will be given to good bids which help provide more housing in rural areas.

Further information including details of how to access assistance with bids will be made available to members next week.
