Ayrshire LEADER - funding still available

The Ayrshire LEADER Local Action Group is urging any community groups, organisations, partnerships or public agencies who seek funds to deliver a project that meets the aims of the Ayrshire Programme, to get in touch now...

Priority will be given to robust applications for projects which demonstrate a strong match funding profile and can complete within a defined timescale.  Applicants will be expected to show how their project contributes to the local development strategy as well as displaying innovation and a capacity to undertake the project.  Where appropriate, you will be asked to show how the project can be sustained beyond the funding period.

Since its launch in late 2008, Ayrshire LEADER has committed £3.67m of funds to 92 rural projects, supporting a £8.25m investment into Ayrshire.

Projects are restricted to a maximum funding period of 2 years and they do not accept applications for less than £1000 or over £250,000.
