Minister acknowledges work of Scottish Land & Estates

We have obtained a copy of Stewart Stevenson, MSP's interview on BBC Radio Scotland.  Following the announcement last month of the sharply reduced number of bird of prey poisoning incidents in 2011.

The Minister commented on the "very positive engagement indeed from Scottish Land & Estates" and in respect of the Due Diligence Good Practice Guide, he said "... Scottish Land & Estates, the representative body, actually has worked with the government to develop advice for landowners. Their engagement has been of the first order and I'm absolutely delighted."
